Earlier this week I witnessed an online community reacting to a fellow who claimed to be a "licensed and certified" hypnotherapist and psychologist. Both are roles that require an easily verified state license, but he doesn't appear to have any state license for anything. That triggered some perfectly justifiable outrage, particularly when you realize that the community noticed the guy because he was trolling for "young females" with a history of sexual trauma.
That lead to a request from a couple of my readers/listeners to review some of the information from my "Choosing a Hypnotherapist" page.
